This May at Marz Aerial Arts & Fitness

What a whirlwind of a month April was this year! It was absolutely thrilling to have a performance EVERY weekend in April in addition to our new Youth Memberships starting up, our Aerial Spiral Pole Workshops, and more! Thank you all who came out to see us - especially at the ENC Ren Faire and The New Bern Follies!

We are working on expanding our daytime programming, and we've already added a few new classes and appointment availability for this month before Summer Camp starts up in June. If you have any ideas for classes or other offerings that you'd like to see during the day, or if you're interested in booking private lessons or other events, please reach out and let me know, or check my schedule below!

What's On Our Schedule

Please take a close look at the schedule on Mindbody as we make some changes to our weekly class schedule! We took your feedback about our Level 3 classes (all being on Mondays) into consideration to split them up throughout the week.

  • Pole Fitness Open Gym from 5pm - 6pm is BACK on Mondays!
  • Sling 3 returns to the schedule on Mondays at 6pm
  • Silks 4 now meets on Mondays at 6pm
  • Lyra 2 now meets on Mondays at 7pm
  • Lyra 3 now meets on Wednesdays at 7pm
  • Silks 3 now meets on Thursdays at 6pm

Youth Aerial & Circus Workshop Series

Designed with homeschooling families in mind, we are hosting a 4-week Aerial & Circus series for both age groups!

Doubles Lyra Workshop Series

Jess and Sylvia are hosting a 4-week Doubles Lyra Series on Tuesdays starting May 6th, from 7:00-8:15pm. This Series is open to students in Lyra 4, Lyra 5, and Lyra 3 with instructor permission. Consistent side straddle inverts will be required.

Arm Balance Workshop

Explore the world of arm balances with Jessie in this dedicated workshop on Saturday, May 10th, from 1:30pm to 4:00pm. All are welcome - whether you're an aerialist or not!

Silk-Sling Invented Apparatus Workshop

We are so excited to welcome Colleen Sands to our studio on Saturday, May 17th, from 3pm to 5pm to teach and explore her invented Silk-Sling apparatus! We recommend completion of Silks 1 and/or Sling 1 and be able to do at least three consecutive climbs.

Reminder: Summer Circus Camps are LIVE!

Our BIGGEST summer yet! New this year are FULL-DAY Summer Circus Camp options, half-day Focus Sessions, and 2-Week Intensives meeting M/W/F or T/Thurs. We have options for ages 6-11, 12-17, 18+, and Showcase! Members receive 10% off registration and we offer a 20% Sibling Discount - reach out to Marzanne if you have more than one kid to register!

Our NEW Youth Aerial Classes Start Tuesday! We have made our transition from 3-week and 4-week Youth Series to regularly scheduled Youth Aerial classes and will be starting on Tuesday, April 1st! Members are given priority registration for classes at or below their level and can take advantage of our 10% Member Discount for programming like Summer Camps. We currently have 3 spaces in Monday's Level 1 classes, 4 spaces in Tuesday's Level 2 classes, and 4 spaces in Wednesday's Level 3 classes....
