Marz Aerial October Newsletter
It's October! Fall is probably my favorite season of the year, and October is always one of the busiest months for the studio, and for New Bern, with Mumfest celebrations underway! We won't have a booth at Mumfest this year (I will be out of town that weekend and have been super overcommitted as it is), but the studio has sponsored a Mumfest banner, so you will still see our name downtown this month! September was another crazy, fun-filled month for us at Marz Aerial. Even though the Carolina Circus Festival was rained out, we had a great time together as a team! We brought back our Youth Series programming, celebrated the announcement of the 2024 New Bern Civic Theatre season (and our studio's sponsorship of Cabaret - we are hoping that many of you will be auditioning to perform!), and on a personal note, I finally finished this GIANT project at work (yes, I do have another job) that I have been working on for over a year this past weekend. In more bittersweet news, this month we are wishing Haleigh farewell as she embarks on her next adventure as Ensign Crouson and begins training in Rhode Island next week for an upcoming fellowship with the Navy, where she will ultimately be reporting to San Diego in December. We are so very excited for her to begin this journey! We will be having a little send-off for her during & after Poleography on Tuesday, October 10th, from about 7 - 8:30pm at the studio.
